Welcome to Lulu Safaris. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking of any safari, accommodation, tour or related service offered by Lulu Safaris (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing our website or making an enquiry or booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this website or make a booking with us.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • “Company” means Lulu Safaris.
  • “Guest” means any individual making a booking or travelling with Lulu Safaris.
  • “Booking” means any confirmed reservation for a safari, tour, accommodation or related service.
  • “Website” means https://lulusafaris.co.za.
  • “Services” means all safaris, tours, accommodation, transfers and related travel services offered by Lulu Safaris.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, requesting a quotation or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

If you are making a booking on behalf of other travellers, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of every person included in the booking.

3. Website Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that information published on this website is accurate and up to date.

However, safari itineraries, accommodation, pricing, availability, wildlife sightings and activities may change without prior notice.

Images displayed on this website are intended to represent our experiences but do not guarantee that identical wildlife sightings or conditions will occur.

4. Booking Enquiries

Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking.

All enquiries remain subject to:

  • Availability
  • Accommodation availability
  • Vehicle availability
  • Guide availability
  • National Park regulations

Bookings are only confirmed once written confirmation has been issued by Lulu Safaris.

5. Quotations

All quotations are subject to availability at the time of acceptance.

Unless otherwise stated, quotations remain valid for fourteen (14) days from the date issued.

Prices may change due to supplier costs, accommodation changes, fuel price increases, park entry fees or government taxes before a booking is confirmed.

6. Prices

Prices displayed on our website are intended as a guide and may change without notice.

Final pricing will always be confirmed in writing before a booking is accepted.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, prices may exclude:

  • Flights
  • Travel insurance
  • Visa costs
  • Personal expenses
  • Meals not specified
  • Beverages
  • Optional activities
  • Park entry fees where indicated

7. Payments

A booking may require a deposit before confirmation.

The remaining balance must be paid before the commencement of the safari unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to in writing.

Failure to make payment by the required date may result in cancellation of the booking.

Lulu Safaris reserves the right to release any reserved accommodation or safari dates where payment has not been received.

8. Payment Methods

Payments may be accepted by one or more of the following methods:

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
  • Credit or Debit Card
  • Online Payment Gateway
  • Other approved payment methods

Any bank charges or international transfer fees remain the responsibility of the guest.

9. Booking Amendments

Guests wishing to amend an existing booking should contact Lulu Safaris as soon as possible.

Although every effort will be made to accommodate requested changes, amendments cannot be guaranteed and may result in additional charges.

10. Special Requests

Special requests including dietary requirements, accessibility requirements, children’s needs or celebration arrangements should be communicated when making a booking.

While every effort will be made to accommodate these requests, they cannot always be guaranteed.

11. Travel Documents

Guests are responsible for ensuring they possess all required documentation before travelling.

This includes:

  • Valid passports
  • Visas where applicable
  • Identification documents
  • Travel insurance documents
  • Vaccination certificates where required

Lulu Safaris accepts no responsibility for losses arising from incomplete or invalid travel documentation.

12. Accuracy of Information

Guests are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied during the booking process is accurate.

This includes names, contact details, travel dates and the number of guests travelling.

Errors may result in additional charges or delays beyond our control.
